Cassie Ventura breaks silence over Sean 'Diddy' Combs assault video

Cassie has addressed the media after completing her testimony in ex-boyfriend Sean Diddy’s trial. The Me & U singer spent four days on the stand detailing the alleged abuse she endured during their 11-year relationship.

After finishing her testimony on Friday, Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, read a statement on her behalf outside the New York courthouse. She expressed gratitude towards her family for their support and anyone who has shown her kindness and encouragement.

“This week has been extremely challenging, but also remarkably empowering and healing for me. I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from abuse and fear,” said the 38-year-old, who is currently eight months pregnant.
