Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, wife of popular media personality Ebuka, recently took to her Instagram stories to vent her frustration over the subpar customer service she received from some Instagram vendors—and fans totally relate.
In her fiery post, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu didn’t hold back as she called out online sellers who refuse to provide a full cost breakdown (including delivery) after customers select their items. Instead, these sellers expect the buyers to do the math themselves, something she finds completely unacceptable.
“I select a few items and ask for the total cost with delivery. Instead of calculating and sending me the full amount, they expect me to add it myself and make payment,” she wrote.
Cynthia went on to question the professionalism of such vendors, asking,
“Isn’t it the job of the seller to give the total amount of what I’m buying? Or am I running mad?”
The businesswoman emphasized that good customer service is non-negotiable, no matter how small the business.
“Please if you own a business, do better. Clearly, things are tough for everyone. If I’m spending my hard-earned money, no matter how small, I expect quality service,” she added.
Fans and followers have flooded her comments section with support, with many sharing similar experiences and urging online vendors to step up their game.
With online shopping becoming more common by the day, Cynthia’s rant has sparked a necessary conversation about professionalism and customer care in the digital age.

“I select a few items and ask for the total cost with delivery. Instead of calculating and sending me the full amount, they expect me to add it myself and make payment,” she wrote.
