Davido and Asa are scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the 2025 National Sports Festival, NSF.
The singers will take the stage at 5:00 pm today, Sunday, May 18, at the NSF opening ceremony in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The announcement was made by Bukola Olopade, the Director General of the National Sports Commission, on X.
The 22nd festival, known as the ‘Gateway Games’, will be officially opened by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Olopade wrote; “This is our own Olympics and the festival must portray that global feel in both competition and organisation.
“The National Sports Commission and Ogun State Government have put up a world class event to mark the opening ceremony later today by 5:00 pm.
“Two of Nigeria’s top Music icons, Davido and Asa will be performing at the MKO Sports Arena.”
