Woli Arole Earns Praise for Initiatives to Bail Out Agodi Prisoners

Woli Arole, a former Nollywood actor who is now a preacher, has issued a stern caution to Christians about the increasing emphasis on money and materialism in the church.

 

Taking to his Instagram account, Woli Arole shared his worries about the church being more focused on wealth rather than spirituality. He pointed out that the true message of the gospel is being neglected in favor of the pursuit of riches.

Known for his comic and spiritual skits, Woli Arole transitioned into preaching and is now urging Christians to prioritize their spiritual connection over worldly possessions.

“I say this as God’s prophet: Mammon is already creaking into the church. The talk of money, the worship of money. Christ did not die so we could become rich; he died so we could have eternal life. Wake up, oh saints. Share this message!!” he noted.
