Lil Durk Reportedly Denied Bail In Murder-For-Hire Case

Rapper, Lil Durk’s attempted murder charge dropped

Lil Durk hasn’t officially stepped away from his music career despite facing serious murder-for-hire allegations, but the situation remains a major setback.

According to Rolling Stone reporter Nancy Dillon on Twitter, a court denied the Chicago rapper bail on Thursday, May 8, during a hearing. Lil Durk reportedly smiled at roughly 20 supporters in the courtroom as the judge delivered the decision.

Despite these denials, Durk’s lawyers face an uphill battle, criticizing both the prosecution’s approach and the broader treatment of hip-hop artists in legal proceedings.

The trial is currently set to begin on October 14, and how both sides navigate the upcoming months will determine the next chapter in this high-profile case.
