Rio Ferdinand, a Manchester United legend, was hospitalized and unable to cover Arsenal’s Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain for TNT Sports.
The 46-year-old, who has had a successful playing career with over 700 appearances and six Premier League titles, has been a regular on the TV network since retiring.
Despite being in the hospital, Ferdinand shared a picture from his hospital bed with a thumbs-up to the camera, showing that he was in good spirits.
