Big Brother Naija star Nengi Hampson responded to heavy backlash following her appearance at Vice The Party’s Elite Party, wearing a see-through dress that exposed her backside.
The 27-year-old new mother, who welcomed her first child in February, was criticized by many Nigerians for “promoting nudity” after footage of the outfit went viral.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Nengi addressed her critics, revealing she’s still recovering from an emergency C-section and navigating body image struggles.
“Still healing, still learning to love this new body… Sometimes all I have is a tiny thread of confidence,” she wrote.
Nengi, known for her bold fashion choices, later joked:
“Okay okay next time I’ll tie wrapper and head tie.. y’all happy now? Lol 😘”
