Nollywood actress and filmmaker Oma Nnadi has addressed growing concerns over the sudden online absence of her colleague and friend, Alex Ekubo.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Oma urged netizens to stop looking for the actor, assuring fans that he is healthy, well, and doing just fine. 
She emphasized that not everyone needs to be active on social media and called for people to give them space.
“Stop looking for Alex Ekubo.
He’s healthy, well and fine.
Everyone must not be on social media.
Let my friend breathe.”
Her statement comes amid speculation and concern from fans who had noticed that Alex Ekubo hasn’t been active on Instagram since December 30th, 2024. The actor’s silence prompted many to question his well-being.
Earlier this year, he was briefly seen in a video with some children, easing fears about his condition. Still, his extended digital absence sparked renewed curiosity.
In 2023, Alex shared an emotional post, stating, “Love is at home,” and drawing strength from the love of his family.
While fans continue to hope for his return to the spotlight, Oma’s reassurance seems to confirm that Alex is simply taking a much-needed break from the public eye.
