Premier League Player of the Season was awarded to Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah on Saturday.
With 28 goals and 18 assists, he helped lead the Reds to their second title. He is now one of only five players to win the award twice, with his previous win in 2017-18.
The 32-year-old is on track to win another Golden Boot, leading Alexander Isak by five goals ahead of the final day of the season.
Salah’s 46 goal involvements have set a new record for a 38-game season, surpassing the previous record of 47 held by Alan Shearer and Andrew Cole.
As Liverpool prepares to host Crystal Palace at Anfield, Salah may have the opportunity to break the record.
He also recently won the Football Writers’ Association Player of the Year award for the third time.
