Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has filed a restraining order against the father of her newborn son, Deondre Burgin, citing repeated physical abuse, threats, and endangerment.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 22-year-old actress submitted the request to the L.A. County Superior Court, alleging that Burgin physically assaulted her on Mother’s Day, while she was holding their three-month-old son, Kasai.

Jackson claims that Burgin punched her in the face, yanked her hair, and slammed her head against a car during the disturbing incident. But this, she alleges, was not an isolated event.
She details a six-month period in 2024, during which she says Burgin attacked her daily — including an incident where he choked her until she could not breathe. Jackson asserts that video evidence supports her claims.
Additional allegations in the court filing include:
-
Burgin allegedly held her at knifepoint during her pregnancy.
-
He reportedly threatened to stab their unborn baby.
-
He demanded she drink bleach in an attempt to force an abortion.
-
He allegedly destroyed personal property, including a television and iPhone.
-
Jackson says she fears for her life, citing that Burgin owns multiple firearms.
In addition to the restraining order, Jackson is also seeking a formal child support order for baby Kasai.
The couple’s turbulent relationship has made headlines in the past. In a previous altercation at Disneyland, Jackson was reportedly arrested after a confrontation in which she informed officers she was pregnant — months before her official announcement.
Skai Jackson, known for her breakout roles in “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” has yet to publicly comment further. However, the court filings paint a harrowing picture of domestic violence and emotional trauma.
