Veteran Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba (2Face), has stirred up controversy with his recent take on relationships and male sexuality.
In a candid conversation on a podcast hosted by media personality Nedu Wazobia, the father of seven argued that men are biologically not designed to be sexually committed to just one woman.
According to 2Baba, while it is entirely possible for a man to deeply love one woman emotionally, remaining sexually faithful to her is, in his opinion, against a man’s natural instincts.
“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman. Heart and love dey with one woman. But sexually, e dey impossible for man. It is the biology of man,” he said.
He continued:
“Man fit love one woman die, but when it comes to that sexual satisfaction, it’s hard. Dey seed too plenty, you no fit drop am for one woman…”
2Baba acknowledged that not everyone would agree with his view, but he stood firm in his belief, saying those who wished to challenge him were free to do so.
The statement has since sparked heated discussions online, with some applauding his honesty, while others criticized his perspective as an excuse for infidelity and lack of self-control.
This isn’t the first time 2Baba’s views on relationships have made headlines. His personal life — particularly his high-profile relationship with actress Annie Idibia, and his multiple children with different women — has long been a topic of public scrutiny and debate.
