Popular human rights activist and social critic Aisha Yesufu has raised alarm over the worsening state of insecurity in Nigeria.
Taking to her official X (formerly Twitter) handle on Monday, Yesufu expressed her frustration, stating that terrorists now operate freely across the country without any effective government intervention.
“There is no government in Nigeria.
“Terrorists have a field day!” she wrote.
The statement comes after a disturbing kidnapping incident was reported in Benue State.
Recall that we had earlier reported that a fully loaded commercial bus belonging to Benue Links Transport Company was hijacked by hoodlums at Eke, along the Otukpo-Otukpa road in Okpokwu Local Government Area.
The latest incident occurred despite the killing of over 200 people in the state by suspected herdsmen.
