BET Awards 2025: The Complete List of Winners

The BET Awards, widely recognized as culture’s biggest night, marked its 25th anniversary with a live broadcast from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Monday, June 9.

Kendrick Lamar led the pack this year with 10 nominations, showcasing his continued impact on the music industry. He was followed closely by Doechii, Drake, Future, and GloRilla, who each earned six nods.

Metro Boomin picked up five nominations, while SZA and The Weeknd each received four. Other notable names with three nominations include Ayra Starr, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Maverick City Music, Playboi Carti, Teddy Swims, and Tyler, the Creator.

Kevin Hart returned as host for this milestone celebration, having first taken on the role in 2011. The following year, he received the Best Actor BET Award for his performance in Think Like a Man. This year, he promised to bring “the ultimate show-stopping performances, powerful moments, and heartfelt tributes reflecting Black culture’s depth and richness over the last quarter century,” according to a press release.

The lineup of performers included standout acts such as Lil Wayne, Teyana Taylor, GloRilla, Playboi Carti, and Leon Thomas, ensuring a dynamic and unforgettable night for viewers and attendees alike.
