Despite announcing their separation just days ago, Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has taken to Instagram to honour her estranged husband on Father’s Day, praising him for his role in their son’s life.
In a heartfelt post accompanied by a photo of her husband and their son, Biola showered him with prayers and well-wishes:
“Happy Father’s Day Daddy Tioluwanimi.
May God increase your wisdom.
May God bless the work of your hands.
May grace and peace be multiplied to you and yours in Jesus’ name.
I celebrate you now and always, Daddy Asher.”
Biola’s gesture comes shortly after she publicly revealed that she and her husband had been separated since April 2024. She explained that while the marriage did not work out, they remain committed to co-parenting their son peacefully and maturely.
In her candid statement last week, the actress apologised to fans who may feel disappointed by the news, expressing her own sadness over the situation:
“I sincerely wish my marriage worked but it’s best to stay alive to tell the story. I make others laugh and feel joy, but my pillow has been soaked with tears for the past 14 months.”
She also urged the public to keep them in their prayers as they navigate their new reality.
