Cardi B has accused Offset of causing their baby to have a low birth weight.
The rapper opened up about the struggles in their marriage in a candid social media post.
In the post on X Spaces, Cardi B, 32, claimed that her six-year marriage to Offset, 33, led her to seek therapy for constant headaches and feeling like she was losing her mind.
She revealed that Offset’s repeated infidelities and the lack of trust and security in their relationship had taken a toll on her mental well-being, to the point where she was considering violent actions.
“I gave chances after chances after chances after chances,” Cardi shared on Tuesday.
“I was going to end up going to jail because I was going to end up killing him. Seriously, with my own bare hands because it was getting too much.”
She claimed their daughter Blossom, eight months, was born underweight as a result of the stress Cardi B had experienced during her pregnancy. The average birth weight for a girl in the US is 7.5 lbs.
“My baby came out 5lbs because I couldn’t eat because I was so depressed because of the lies and the constant drama,” the WAP rapper wept.
“This is more than the cheating. It’s just like the constant lies, the gaslighting – it was really messing up with my head.”
