The Federal Government has officially launched the digital portal for the upcoming Nigeria Youth Conference, popularly known as the National Youth Confab.
This initiative, aimed at engaging Nigerian youths in policy dialogues and national development strategies, was unveiled on Monday by the Minister of Youth Development, Ayode Olawande.
Speaking at the launch, Olawande emphasized that the conference would be “inclusive, non-partisan, and youth-led.” He further revealed the theme for the Confab as: “Next Gen Nigeria: Crafting Solutions, Owning the Future.”
According to him, the newly launched portal will allow delegates to register, share input, and receive real-time updates throughout the duration of the event.
“This is more than just a conference,” the minister noted. “It’s a generational turning point, a national movement, and a call to action.”
CREEBHILLS recalls that President Bola Tinubu initially announced the 30-day Youth Confab during his Independence Day address in October 2024. The President subsequently inaugurated a 44-member Planning Committee for the initiative at the State House in Abuja this March.
