Turkish football analyst Devrim Zengi has stated that no European club can rival the lucrative salary package Galatasaray is offering to Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen.
Speaking to Habersarikirmizi, Zengi noted that while top European teams are keen on the striker following his impressive season with the Turkish champions, many are hesitant because of his expected participation in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which could see him miss up to five matches.
“This year’s AFCON will take about a month, and Osimhen will likely be away. Some clubs are cautious about losing a key player during that period,” Zengi explained.
Despite interest from clubs like Liverpool, Zengi is confident Osimhen will remain in Turkey. “European clubs cannot match Galatasaray’s salary package. He has also ruled out a move to Saudi Arabia, which his family opposes,” he added.
Osimhen’s future remains one of the most talked-about topics of the current transfer window.
