American actor and singer Tyrese Gibson is making it clear that cancel culture hasn’t slowed him down—in fact, he considers it a blessing.
In a bold message posted to his Instagram Story, Tyrese Gibson shared his thoughts on the impact of cancel culture, emphasizing that it actually validates public attention. For him, being “cancelled” turned out to be an unexpected advantage.
“Cancel culture is the greatest gift. There would be no such thing as being canceled if they wasn’t watching your every move. This is biblical. God will never give YOU something [Somebody else] is supposed to have,” he wrote.
He also encouraged others to stay focused and bold in the face of criticism, saying:
“Keep flying, keep being a disruptor and keep elevating. Only those that are different change things.”
Tyrese Gibson rounded off the post by listing some of his accomplishments post-“cancellation“, proudly noting:
“I hope I get canceled again cause I’ve booked 35 movies, had 5 number one singles and 3 number one albums after it.”
The post drew attention online, with fans applauding his optimistic attitude and resilience in the face of public scrutiny.
