Popular social media personality Ifeluv has firmly shut down any hopes of rekindling her relationship with comedian Oluwadolarz, making it clear that their seven-year relationship is over.
Speaking in a candid interview on Wazobia FM, Ifeluv dismissed the idea of reconciliation when asked if there was a chance they could get back together.
“You know they always say ‘never say never,’ but this one na never. I already know—it’s a no, no,” she said.
Ifeluv revealed that the cracks in their relationship started to show when she began questioning their future together.
“I asked him where we were headed, and that became pressure to him. I think someone like that probably needs therapy,” she stated.
According to her, family pressure also played a significant role in trying to keep them together. She recalled an emotional moment when Oluwadolarz’s mother went down on her knees, pleading with her not to leave.
“Yes, Mummy Dolarz knelt down and begged me. She wasn’t lying. I swear to Almighty God, she was on both knees saying, ‘If you’ve forgiven him, let’s fix this.’ And in Yoruba culture, that kind of gesture is deep—it’s like a curse if you ignore it. But I knew this was the only way I could be free.”
Despite the weight of cultural expectations and family appeals, Ifeluv made the difficult decision to end the relationship.
“People said it was a family issue and I should just settle, but I didn’t want to. I had wanted to leave for a long time.”
She also explained why she made their breakup public:
“If I talk wetin dey happen, nobody fit come beg me again. That was the only way I could truly move on.”
