During his monthly press briefing, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, affirmed his membership in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stating that he remains committed to the party.
He emphasized his dedication to the party and made it clear that he is unafraid to challenge the wealthy individuals.
Wike expressed his preference for challenging the rich over the poor.
He said: “Look at what we are doing differently. I have found out that most of them didn’t have the courage to annoy people, to step on toes – I take joy when stepping on the toes of big men, those who say nothing will happen. I take joy in saying something will happen.
“It makes me happy. You want me to take decisions against the poor people while you, the rich man, think nothing will happen – something will happen. And that’s why we are getting results.
“The only person that I owe is Mr. President. This is what I’m doing because I have to support the government and make a difference.
“I’m in PDP, but when people don’t want to learn, impunity will kill you. I’m still in PDP and work hard for this party.”
