Nigerian football legend Austine Jay-Jay Okocha has urged Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen to carefully weigh his personal and family interests when deciding on his next club move.
Osimhen, who recently rejected a big-money offer from Saudi side Al Hilal, is widely expected to leave Napoli before the 2025/26 season amid interest from top European clubs.
Speaking to Sport 247, Okocha, a 1994 AFCON winner, stated:
“The decision should be his. Whether it goes well or not, he must own it. I don’t believe in deciding someone’s future. He should choose what’s best for him and his family.”
Osimhen’s next destination remains a subject of intense speculation, as fans and football pundits await updates on where the Nigerian forward will continue his career.
