Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as K1 De Ultimate, has debunked speculations surrounding his marriage to Emmanuella Ropo, firmly stating that they remain happily married.
In a recent interview, the 68-year-old musician clarified that he has no plans to reunite with his former wife, Titilola ‘Titi’ Marshal, despite rumours sparked by their encounter during his mother’s burial in Ijebu-Ode.
“Emmanuella remains my wife, and there’s no problem between us,” Kwam 1 said. He explained that his wife has reduced her social media presence following his advice to focus on business matters rather than online distractions.
Addressing claims of rekindling his relationship with Titi Marshal, whom he married in 2018, the singer maintained that their union is over and denied plans to marry anyone else.
“Titi Marshal is gone forever. But because she’s the mother of my children, I can’t ignore them. That doesn’t mean there’s any relationship to revive,” he stated.
Kwam 1 revealed that he is fully occupied with the development of a large-scale resort, which has become his primary focus outside music. “This project is massive, taking up 90% of my resources. Marriage is the least of my concerns right now,” he said.
He concluded by saying that, at 68, his priorities have shifted to business ventures such as farming and hospitality, rather than relationship drama or online gossip.
