Nigerian content creator and singer, Nasboi, has vowed to continue his ongoing 36 States nationwide campaign to secure a music feature from Afrobeats superstar Davido, despite being involved in a car accident during the journey.
The entertainer, who is currently on a self-funded road tour across Nigeria, issued a heartfelt press release from Abuja, reaffirming his commitment to the mission.
Accident on Day 8
Eight days into the campaign, which involves Nasboi visiting multiple state capitals with a placard boldly asking for a Davido verse, the artist was involved in a serious car crash. Thankfully, he escaped without injuries and expressed gratitude for his life and the support he’s received.
“Yes, the accident happened. I’m alive, and for that, I am grateful. And yes, it was terrifying,” Nasboi said.
More Than Just a Music Feature
In his statement, Nasboi explained how the mission had evolved beyond music and now represents a deeply personal journey of purpose and resilience.
“What started as a bold, creative plea for a verse from the legendary Davido has now taken on a life of its own,” he noted.
“It’s about resilience. It’s about showing the world—and myself—that once I set my heart on something, I finish it.”
Despite criticism and public debate over the stunt, Nasboi made it clear that he is not acting out of desperation, but from a place of conviction and inspiration.
