Nigerian skitmaker and singer, Nasiru Lawal, popularly known as Nasboi, has shared candid thoughts about fame, success, and his long-term plans in the entertainment industry.
In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), the comedian disclosed that he values financial stability far more than popularity, stressing that the pressures that come with fame are something he never wishes to endure again — not even in another lifetime.
Expressing his frustration, he wrote:
“I will choose having money over being famous… I no fit try this kind thing for my next life again. Once my money complete 5 billion, I don disembark. I no do again… No skit, no music, no acting. Make brain rest.”
Nasboi said he already has a clear exit strategy, stating that he intends to quit skit-making, music, acting, and every other aspect of entertainment once he hits his financial target. According to him, ₦5 billion is the amount he needs before stepping away from the spotlight completely.
After years of actively creating content across multiple fields, the entertainer said all he now looks forward to is rest, peace of mind, and long-term financial comfort.
His revelation has triggered a wave of reactions online. While many fans agreed that fame can be overwhelming and mentally draining, others encouraged him to keep pushing until he reaches his goal.
