Grammy-winning singer Nomcebo Zikode has welcomed a new bundle of joy—a baby boy—into her family. The Jerusalema hitmaker, who already has two older children with her husband, expressed overwhelming happiness about the new arrival.
“I am so happy. It’s as if this is my first child whatsoever, my first baby,” she shared with TRUELOVE magazine.
While internationally celebrated for her chart-topping collaborations—including the Grammy-winning track Bayethe with Zakes Bantwini and Wouter Kellerman—Nomcebo is now prioritizing family, peace of mind, and personal wellness.
A devout believer, she credits prayer and fitness as sources of strength:
“I take God very seriously… I understand that exercising will help me with so many things, health-wise and with my mind.”
Despite a demanding career that often takes her abroad, Nomcebo cherishes simple family moments like cooking for her loved ones at home.
The iZono Zami singer also recently weathered a public legal dispute with Open Mic Productions over unpaid royalties for Jerusalema, choosing to guard her privacy moving forward:
“I just chose that… this is for me.”
Though basking in the joys of motherhood, Nomcebo hinted that new music is still on the horizon, with future releases promised to be heartfelt and meaningful.
For now, the singer is focused on embracing this beautiful new chapter with her family.
