Actress and media personality Ntando Duma has made a fiery return to the screen in the much-awaited second season of Shaka iLembe, reprising her role as the bold and cunning Queen Bhibhi ka Sompisi.
First introduced in Season 1, Episode 6, Queen Bhibhi—King Senzangakhona’s ninth wife—quickly became a fan-favorite (and antagonist) thanks to her sharp wit, manipulative charm, and unyielding ambition. Her scheming ways famously contributed to the ousting of Queen Nandi and her son Shaka, a major turning point in the series.
In Season 2, Ntando Duma slips back into Bhibhi’s shoes with amplified confidence and flair. With King Senzangakhona’s exit shaking the palace, Bhibhi seizes the chaos, wielding her influence and razor-sharp tongue to stir the royal pot once again.
Taking to social media, Ntando reflected on her connection to the character:
“Bhibhi, my darling. Senzangakhona’s departure has changed everything, and you still think this attitude is gonna save you? Oh but I love your feistiness and spirit, my Queen – giving in easily isn’t your style, I love that for you.”
She also thanked fans for their love—and hate—of the character, acknowledging the mixed emotions Bhibhi stirs with every appearance.
Ntando’s portrayal continues to command attention, cementing Queen Bhibhi as one of the standout forces in Shaka iLembe. As Season 2 unfolds, viewers can expect more royal drama, unexpected twists, and the unforgettable presence of Bhibhi—who, true to form, isn’t backing down without a fight.
