Peter Okoye, a well-known Nigerian musician, has revealed that he is partnering with football icon Mikel Obi to help bring Victor Osimhen to Chelsea.
In a recent update, Okoye shared his efforts to persuade Osimhen, a talented Nigerian striker, to join Stamford Bridge.
Despite a previous unsuccessful attempt in 2024, Peter Okoye assured Chelsea fans that he is determined to convince Osimhen to sign with the club this summer.
He wrote; “Dear ChelseaFC fans, last summer, both Mikel Obi and I made every effort to secure the signing of Victor Osimhen for Chelsea. Including engaging in a three-way call right up until the transfer deadline. I want to reassure all of you that we remain steadfast in our pursuit and will continue our efforts this summer. Fingers crossed”.
A devoted Chelsea supporter, Okoye is also a close friend of Osimhen. Osimhen, who currently plays for Galatasaray in Turkey on loan, caught the attention of top Premier League clubs after becoming the top goalscorer in the Turkish Super Lig.
Overall, Peter Okoye and Mikel Obi are working together to potentially secure Osimhen’s transfer to Chelsea, making waves in the football transfer world.
