Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, has subtly responded to criticism from Tanzanian media personality Mange Kimambi, who recently warned her against posting affectionate moments with her husband during Tanzania’s politically sensitive period.
Kimambi had urged Priscilla to hold off on sharing romantic content for at least five months, citing the upcoming Tanzanian elections and suggesting that such displays were tone-deaf amid the country’s political tension.
In a graceful yet pointed clapback, Priscilla took to Instagram to post more throwback wedding photos, captioned:
“Let’s throwback a little. Thank God, say God no be man.”
The post quickly drew supportive reactions from Nollywood stars:
-
Toyin Abraham playfully commented:
“Throwback more, post it well and film it well. Let me finish what I’m doing first.”
-
Iyabo Ojo, clearly proud, added:
“Lion no dey born goat.”
-
Influencer Diiadem also chimed in with:
“Oshey oko mi.”
Priscilla’s unapologetic response has been widely seen as a statement of self-assurance and defiance, reinforcing her stance that love and celebration need no external validation—even in politically charged times.
