Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia is poised to part with a substantial amount of money and property as his divorce battle with Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams intensifies.
The estranged couple has been embroiled in a legal tussle over the enforcement of a prenuptial agreement, which they both signed prior to their marriage.
Court proceedings had been delayed multiple times due to Simon Guobadia’s detention by U.S. immigration authorities, but with the 61-year-old now reportedly back in Nigeria, the case is moving forward.
Porsha Williams, 43, filed for divorce in February 2024, ending their marriage after just 15 months.
According to Us Weekly, Guobadia has argued that Williams’ alleged misrepresentations—particularly about her departure from the RHOA franchise—played a role in his decision to sign the prenup.
The terms of the agreement reportedly require Simon Guobadia to divide the equity in his $7 million pre-marital home with Williams and cover significant debts and expenses for her benefit.
