Actress and casting director Stephanie Ndlovu has broken her silence in an emotional video addressing the intense online bullying and backlash she has faced since announcing her separation from fellow actor and husband, Hungani Ndlovu.

The once-adored couple, known for their joint YouTube channel and seemingly solid relationship, confirmed their divorce on Sunday. Despite the end of their marriage, they emphasized their continued friendship and commitment to co-parenting their daughter, Rhulani.

However, just days after their statement, Stephanie revealed that she has been the target of relentless cyberbullying and false narratives being spread across social media. In a video shared on Wednesday, the Scandal! star emotionally detailed her experience:

“I have endured the level of bullying that I have never experienced in my life,” she said. “I have been dragged, told the kind of mother I am and the kind of wife I was… I turned off the comments, blocked and deleted some. But I am finding myself in a position where I need to say something because it is getting out of hand.”

Stephanie further explained that the public attacks have extended beyond her, affecting people close to her, particularly her friend and fellow actress Petronella Tshuma, who trolls have unfairly targeted despite having no connection to the couple’s separation.

“You guys are attacking her character, her as a mother and as a person… Please, just stop. If you guys could leave Petronella alone, I would really appreciate it,” Stephanie pleaded.

The video serves as a powerful call for compassion and restraint, as Stephanie reminded viewers that public figures are still human, navigating painful, personal challenges behind the scenes.

The couple’s original joint statement made it clear that their decision to part ways came after deep reflection and thoughtful conversations, and though the announcement came earlier than planned due to media leaks, they remain united in their devotion to Rhulani.
