At least 25 individuals have tragically lost their lives in an attack believed to be carried out by suspected herdsmen on Edikwu Ankpali community in Benue State’s Apa Local Government Area.
The assailants reportedly arrived at around 6 p.m., shooting at villagers without warning.
It has been reported that numerous residents were also taken captive during the violent incident.
Vincent, a resident of the village, shared that the armed attackers had taken full control of the community.
