Usher to Perform at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s Star-Studded Wedding Celebration
Usher is set to bring the vibes to the main celebration of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish wedding festivities, following their official ceremony on Friday, June 27, in Venice, Italy.
While the couple reportedly tied the knot before arriving in Italy, a smaller ceremony was held near Venice with an elite guest list in attendance. The real party, however, is taking place on a private island just outside the city.
According to US Weekly, “They had the ceremony yesterday and, of course, celebrated afterwards, but tonight is the main affair where everyone’s really letting loose. This is when the party will really kick off.”
The entertainment lineup for the evening includes performances by R&B icon Usher and celebrity DJ Cassidy.
The exclusive guest list boasted high-profile names including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom, and Sydney Sweeney. Matteo Bocelli, son of legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli, reportedly performed during the ceremony procession.
Lauren Sanchez, 55, stunned in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown adorned with 180 hand-finished silk buttons. In a Vogue interview at her final dress fitting, she said, “I feel like a princess.”
While she noted that she and Bezos, 61, aren’t strictly adhering to all traditional customs, Lauren did carry a deeply personal “something blue”: a memento from her Blue Origin spaceflight.
“My ‘something blue’ is something from my space flight… It was literally one of the most profound experiences I’ve ever had in my life,” she said. “Jeff said, ‘It’s gonna change you more than you think,’ and it completely has, visually, spiritually.”
