On Friday, the award-winning artist posted a mysterious silhouette cover art on social media, hinting at a comeback. The caption was meant to say, “Guess who’s back,” but instead read, “Guess whose back.”
The grammatical error quickly went viral, overshadowing the actual music announcement and setting off a social media frenzy.
“Do you now see the importance of having a matric certificate?” one X user asked, referencing Cassper’s well-known decision to leave high school to pursue music full time.
Despite the roasting, many fans rushed to defend Cassper, suggesting the typo may have been a deliberate publicity stunt to stir buzz before the new release.
@iamtammyx wrote, “But your dumb a*s is now marketing him to us. 😭 The script is writing itself.”
