Rapper Cassper Nyovest has publicly called out Uber South Africa after a courier delivery went wrong, vowing never to use the service again.
The hitmaker, who is gearing up for his highly anticipated Fill Up concert, took to Instagram on Tuesday to share his frustration, accusing a driver of stealing a gift he had sent to a friend.
According to Cassper, he booked Uber Courier to deliver the package, but the driver, identified as Dymon, allegedly failed to complete the delivery and falsely marked the order as “returned to sender.”
“Uber has become such complete rubbish! Yesterday I tried to send a gift to one of my friends through Uber Courier and the driver decided to steal the gift and report that he returned to me!!!” Cassper wrote.
He expressed disappointment that the expensive gift, meant as a surprise, never reached his friend, adding that the incident had completely ruined the gesture.
The rapper also revealed that this was not his first negative experience with the platform, recalling previous issues with Uber Eats mishandling his food orders.
“Such an expensive gift, ruined my day and ruined the gesture for my friend… I’ll never use Uber Courier again! Such rubbish!!!” he ranted.
Cassper even posted a photo of the driver on his Instagram, sparking strong reactions from fans who sympathized with him and shared their own grievances with the service.
