Deji Adeyanju reacts to Bobrisky

Prominent Nigerian activist and lawyer Deji Adeyanju has declared his intention to intensify criticism of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, amid the ongoing political feud between Wike and former Rivers State governor, Rotimi Amaechi.

Adeyanju made the vow in a Facebook post on Saturday, reacting to the escalating verbal exchange between the two Rivers-born politicians.

The clash follows Amaechi’s recent alignment with a coalition of opposition leaders seeking to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

In his post, Adeyanju called on Amaechi to ignore Wike, arguing that the former transportation minister is “too big” to be engaging in a public war of words with the FCT Minister. He instead offered to take up the task of countering Wike’s political rhetoric and actions himself.

“Coalition people should leave Wike and his dead PDP for me. Amaechi is too big to be responding to Wike,” Adeyanju wrote.

“Please, leave him for me. They should face other important and relevant issues.”

Adeyanju’s comments have further fueled public discourse on the deepening rift between the two political heavyweights, both of whom have served as governors of Rivers State and remain influential figures in the national political landscape.
