“We Were Treated Like Criminals” — DJ Dimple N!pple Details Heartbreaking Ordeal at Manila Airport (video)

DJ Dimple Nipple Details Heartbreaking Ordeal at Manila Airport

Popular Nigerian DJ and influencer, DJ Dimple nipple, has broken her silence after experiencing what she describes as one of the most traumatic and degrading events of her life while trying to enter the Philippines.

In a harrowing account shared online, DJ Dimplenipple revealed how she and her best friend were subjected to inhumane treatment, racial profiling, and humiliation at the hands of Manila immigration officials, despite having all necessary travel documents, embassy support, and sponsorship.

“They brought in a large dog to sniff our luggage and bodies,” she wrote.
“They made us open our suitcases and went through everything — even our underwear and skincare products — and found nothing.”

According to her, multiple officers gathered as they ransacked her belongings. From hair products to empty containers, nothing was spared. Still, nothing incriminating was found. Even after repeating the entire process with her best friend, they came up empty-handed again.

“There was also a mounted camera pointed at us the entire time,” she said.
“We tried to record for our own protection, but they told us it was not allowed.”

After several rounds of checks — including multiple searches of their handbags and bodies — immigration officers informed them that they would not be allowed into the country. No clear reason was given.

“My best friend approached an officer to ask what was going on. They told her a final decision had been made. When she asked why, they simply said it was a personal decision and could not be disclosed.”

Throughout this emotional turmoil, DJ Dimplenipple says the Nigerian Embassy in Manila, along with CCMNL (Culture Connect Manila), did everything possible to intervene. Embassy officials called, emailed, and even visited the airport in person — but to no avail.

“Despite this, we were led to the transfer desk and told to book a return flight,” she recalled.
“Our hearts sank.”

What was presented as a “lounge” area for rest turned out to be a makeshift detention center filled with other Africans, including fellow Nigerians.

She met a man who had been detained for months without sunlight, and saw families, children, and even a man who had allegedly been locked up for four months and had lost his mental stability.

“That place had cameras everywhere — even in the restrooms. We were freezing. They denied us blankets. Denied us even cardboard to sleep on,” she added.

Amid freezing temperatures and rising anxiety, the DJ and her friend had to sleep on gathered plastic bags and cartons. They were given no updates or empathy.

“At 2:05PM, I received a message: ‘I’m really sorry for what they made you go through. It is humiliating and disheartening despite all the efforts we made.’”

DJ Dimple nipple didn’t hold back in calling out the racial injustice and indignity she believes they suffered.

“We were racially profiled, humiliated, and treated like criminals,” she wrote.
“We had every required document. Still, we were denied entry, locked up without answers.”

Despite the emotional scars, she expressed deep gratitude to the Nigerian Embassy in Manila:

“Thank you for showing up, standing with us, and doing all you could. We saw you. We felt your support. We are grateful.”
