Drake Postpones Manchester Concert Last Minute Over “Travel Logistics”

Drake

Drake has abruptly postponed his much-anticipated Manchester concert just a day before the scheduled performance, citing “travel logistics” as the reason for the change.

The Canadian superstar was set to take the stage at Manchester’s Co-op Live arena on Monday night, July 28, alongside fellow artist PartyNextDoor as part of their co-headlining Some Special Shows 4 U tour. However, fans were informed on Sunday evening that the show would be rescheduled.

“Due to unforeseen ferry schedule and travel logistics, tomorrow’s performance in Manchester on July 28th has been rescheduled,” a post on the arena’s official website announced.

“The good news is that Drake will now perform in Manchester on Tuesday, August 5th, and it’s set to be an unforgettable night.”

Ticket holders can breathe a sigh of relief as all previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new date. While the venue provided the update, Drake himself has not publicly commented on the postponement.

The 38-year-old rapper is currently touring Europe for the first time in six years, following his Assassination Vacation Tour in 2019. Earlier this year, he released a joint album with PartyNextDoor titled Some Sexy Songs 4 U, which the current tour supports.

Next on their itinerary are three shows at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome, starting July 30, before the duo makes their rescheduled stop in Manchester on August 5.
