Drake stirred headlines at his Birmingham concert after fans chanted “F*** Kendrick!” in the midst of his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. The rap icon was performing as part of his $ome $pecial $hows 4 UK tour alongside PARTYNEXTDOOR at the Utilita Arena when the crowd erupted in support of him.
In a now-viral video from Monday night (July 21, 2025), Drake responded with a smirk, saying, “I can’t say that I don’t agree…”
The Canadian rapper also took the opportunity to tease his upcoming ninth studio album, Iceman, telling the crowd, “I’m working on my album Iceman, we got a lot to talk about.” The LP’s lead single, What Did I Miss?, marked his first solo release of the year following his collaborative project with PARTYNEXTDOOR, Some Sexy Songs 4 U.
Drake began building anticipation for Iceman earlier this year through a livestream series titled Iceman: Episode 1. The stream featured him driving through Toronto, revisiting personal archives, and performing What Did I Miss? in a warehouse themed around the album.
The heated rivalry between Drake and Kendrick Lamar escalated in 2024 after Kendrick’s explosive verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s Like That, which accused Drake of being a “certified pedophile”—a claim Drake has vehemently denied.
Drake retaliated with diss tracks Push Ups and The Heart Part 6, while Kendrick cemented his response during a Super Bowl halftime performance, delivering a censored rendition of Not Like Us and appearing alongside SZA.
He even pursued legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify, alleging defamation, bot manipulation, and inflated streaming figures for Not Like Us. However, the rapper ultimately withdrew his pre-action filing, opting not to proceed with the lawsuit.
