“I Wasn’t Ready for This” – DreamDoll Opens Up About Postpartum Hair Loss

DreamDoll welcomes first child, flaunts postpartum snapback (Video)

Rapper and reality star DreamDoll is getting candid about the realities of postpartum hair loss following the birth of her daughter.

In a recent Snapchat post reposted by LiveBitez, DreamDoll shared vulnerable footage of herself in the shower, visibly emotional as large clumps of hair fell from her head while washing it.

She explained that some of the hair loss began after wearing box braids, a style she now regrets during this sensitive stage.

“All that hair came out of my head,” DreamDoll said in the video. “My hair feels so thin and more is still coming out.”

“One Day at a Time”

Admitting she was unprepared for the impact of postpartum shedding, DreamDoll told fans:

“I wasn’t ready for this, but it’s okay. One day at a time.”

Still, the resilient new mom bounced back quickly, showing off a new curly flip-over hairstyle the next day, noting that the look helped mask the hair loss and made her feel confident again.

“You can’t even tell how much hair I lost,” she said.
