Social media influencer and entrepreneur Jayda Cheaves is opening up about her decision to undergo a breast surgery revision — and the lessons she learned along the way.
Over the weekend, Instagram user @livebitez shared a resurfaced clip from a previous livestream in which Cheaves candidly explained her most recent cosmetic procedure. According to the clip, she had her chest redone earlier that day, opting for a smaller size and a more structured result.
“I got them redone,” Cheaves shared. “I went a little smaller, and I got them — it’s just an internal bra that I had so that I can keep my cleavage together because the reason I got them done is because they were so spaced out. It just was not cute.”
Why She Got Them Redone
The influencer went on to reveal that the initial surgery didn’t yield the results she wanted — largely because she rushed into the procedure shortly after giving birth to her son.
“You’re supposed to wait six months before you get any type of surgery, and I rushed and went ahead and got my boobs done, and I lied to my doctor,” Cheaves admitted.
“So I didn’t even give my body time to heal. In the process of that, I had just stopped breastfeeding, so my boobs were back saggy, and they just did not heal correctly.”
The new procedure, which included an “internal bra,” was meant to correct the spacing issue and improve the overall appearance of her cleavage.
