Edmond Laurent, a former model and exotic dancer, has filed a $10 million lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing the embattled music mogul of sexual battery, assault, and emotional distress.
The explosive 32-page complaint, filed this week, outlines a series of alleged incidents that occurred in the late 2000s, including claims of drugging, coercion, and sexual abuse at high-end Los Angeles hotels such as the SLS and the Mondrian.
Laurent, who has appeared in music videos with stars like Britney Spears and Tupac Shakur, says the trauma he experienced left lasting damage, including severe health issues like stomach cancer.
His attorneys, Rodney Diggs and Tyrone Blackburn—who also represent other plaintiffs in separate cases against Combs—are calling the suit a broader effort to challenge unchecked abuse by powerful figures in the entertainment industry.
“This lawsuit is not just about seeking justice for one man — it is about holding powerful individuals accountable when they use their influence to exploit, degrade, and destroy lives behind closed doors,” Diggs said in a statement to Variety.
“For years, Mr. Laurent suffered in silence—his career, body, and spirit irreparably damaged by the trauma he endured. Today, that silence ends.”
Diddy, who remains in custody following a denied bail request in a separate federal case, has denied all allegations and maintains his innocence.
