FIFA unveils theme song for 2026 World Cup

Top clubs kick against FIFA’s plan to expand Club World Cup

FIFA has released a new sonic identity titled “FIFA Volunteer Theme x FIFA World Cup 26™,” a specially composed anthem dedicated to the volunteers who power the world’s biggest football tournament.

Unlike past projects developed by high-profile artists or studios, this audio signature was crafted by DJane Violet, a passionate football lover and active member of the FIFA Volunteer Community. The track aims to capture the “energy, unity, and purpose” of the thousands of volunteers who work behind the scenes to make the tournament a success.

“Since I’ve always loved football, I’m really interested in being involved in an event of this magnitude,” said DJane Violet (real name González) in a statement to FIFA.
“This song is my way of paying tribute to those who make it all happen beyond the locker room — they are truly the heartbeat of the FIFA World Cup.”

The newly unveiled Volunteer Theme forms part of FIFA’s broader audio branding strategy for the 2026 World Cup, which also includes unique Sonic IDs created for each of the 16 Host Cities across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
