Former Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) — a move that comes just days after his resignation as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The appointment was officially announced during the inauguration ceremony of newly appointed FAAN board members held in Abuja.
Ganduje stepped down from his position as APC National Chairman last week, citing urgent and personal reasons for his decision. His resignation paved the way for Ali Bukar Dalori, who has now taken over leadership of the ruling party.
With this new role at FAAN, he is expected to bring his political experience and administrative background to the aviation sector, overseeing policy direction and strategic oversight of the country’s airport operations.
