American R&B singer Summer Walker has expressed her deep desire to visit Nigeria, revealing that the West African nation holds a special allure for her.
Speaking in a recent interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra, the Grammy-nominated artist admitted she feels so drawn to Nigeria that she fears she may never return to the United States once she sets foot in the country.
“I want to go to Nigeria so bad. But I’m scared because I know I won’t come back. I just want to take my kids and just like, we gone!” SUMMER Walker said, highlighting her growing fascination with Nigerian culture and lifestyle.
The mother of three went a step further, humorously stating her readiness to become the third wife of an African king and settle down with her children in a royal household.
“It just seems so fun. I had my first African dish the other day, it was good as heck. I just know I won’t come back. I would be somebody’s third wife. Me and my kids would be put up in some African king’s house. I know it,” she joked.
Continuing in her light-hearted tone, Summer Walker added, “My nyash is good. I’m prepared. I’m ready. I’ve been waiting for this.”
Walker also disclosed that she had initially planned to celebrate her 29th birthday in Nigeria this past April. However, the trip was postponed due to her children falling ill. Despite the delay, she assured fans that she still fully intends to make the journey soon.
