Liverpool Reject €67.5M Bayern Bid for Luis Díaz Amid Summer Transfer Interest

Liverpool has turned down a €67.5 million bid from Bayern Munich for Colombian winger Luis Díaz, according to multiple reports. The proposal, submitted earlier this week, was swiftly rejected as the club reaffirmed its stance of keeping the 27-year-old star this summer.

The Reds had already made it clear in June that Díaz was not for sale, with manager Arne Slot and the club’s hierarchy viewing him as a key figure in their attacking plans.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool is not entertaining any approaches at this stage and remains firm on their valuation.

Despite the rejection, Luis Díaz is reportedly open to a summer move, with both Bayern Munich and Barcelona expressing strong interest in recent weeks.

Bayern are believed to be long-term admirers of the winger and may return with an improved offer as they look to bolster their frontline under new manager Vincent Kompany.

Barcelona, meanwhile, has been monitoring Díaz’s situation but could struggle to meet Liverpool’s asking price due to financial constraints.

Díaz, who joined Liverpool from FC Porto in January 2022, has made 98 appearances for the club, scoring 24 goals and providing 13 assists across all competitions. His current contract runs until 2027.

As it stands, Liverpool’s position is clear: Díaz is not for sale—unless a significantly higher offer is submitted. With the transfer window still open, the situation remains fluid, and further developments could unfold if player interest or bids intensify.
