NBA YoungBoy is expanding his already large family, revealing in a new track that he and his wife Jazlyn Mychelle are expecting their third child together. The news came through lyrics on the song “If You Need Me” from his newly released album Make America Slime Again. “Me and Jaz on our third kid,” he raps — confirming that the 24-year-old rapper will soon become a father of 13.
This development places YoungBoy ahead of Nick Cannon, who has 12 children, making the Louisiana rapper one of the most prolific celebrity fathers in recent memory.
The album also includes a politically charged track, “XXX,” where YoungBoy voices support for Donald Trump:
“Whatever Trump doin’, btch, it’s good for the youngins,”* he raps.
The endorsement follows Trump’s presidential pardon of the rapper, which wiped his federal fraud charges clean earlier this year.
NBA YoungBoy previously thanked Trump in a public statement, saying, “This moment means a lot. It opens the door to a future I’ve worked hard for, and I am fully prepared to step into this.” He also acknowledged criminal justice reform advocate Alice Marie Johnson and his attorney Brittany K. Barnett for their efforts in securing the pardon.
Make America Slime Again features 30 tracks and includes guest appearances by Playboi Carti and Mellow Rackz. The album marks NBA YoungBoy’s latest step in reshaping his image post-incarceration, both as an artist and as a growing father figure.
