Oluremi Tinubu Donates ₦1 Billion to Plateau Crisis Victims, Calls for End to Violence

Oluremi Tinubu Donates ₦1 Billion

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has donated ₦1 billion, food items, and clothing to victims of violent attacks in Plateau State, reaffirming her commitment to restoring peace in crisis-affected communities.

The donation was made through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) and announced by her media aide, Busola Kukoyi, on Wednesday. The First Lady visited Plateau to sympathize with displaced persons and promote reconciliation in communities devastated by deadly clashes.

“I come in as a mother whose heart bleeds,” she said during her address.
“I pray this will be the last time I have to visit Plateau for such a tragic reason. Do not give room to the serpent to strike again—mend the broken edge. This is enough. Nigeria is a beautiful country, and I pray Plateau remains the land of peace and tourism.”

“Protect Women and Children” — Tinubu Tells Men, Youth

Senator Tinubu urged men to protect their families and work towards the return of normal life, including farming and trade. She also charged youths to embrace peace and unity, warning that violence only brings long-term suffering.
