Rapper Cardi B has fiercely responded to online speculation regarding the alleged cause of her rumored breakup with NFL star Stefon Diggs.
Taking to X Spaces (formerly Twitter Spaces), the Grammy-winning artist addressed and shut down circulating rumors with her trademark candidness and unapologetic tone.
In her fiery statement, Cardi B denied the claims being made online and redirected the criticism back at the source of the speculation:
“But bh, that’s you… That’s on you, bh. That could never be me.”
She continued by referencing her past experience as a dancer and the personal hygiene standards she upheld:
“Bh, I was a fing stripper, you had to smell good all the time. I was raised by women, like please.”
Not holding back, the Bronx native offered a blunt clapback aimed at critics:
“That could never be me… You better fing squat open that ass cheek and fing throw your f***ing fingers around with some Dove soap.”
Though neither Cardi B nor Stefon Diggs has officially confirmed a split, the online chatter has grown louder in recent days. Cardi’s comments, however, seem to make it clear that she’s not willing to entertain misinformation, and she’s not afraid to call it out.
As of now, representatives for both Cardi B and Diggs have not issued formal statements on the status of their relationship.
