Nigerian international striker Victor Osimhen is set to arrive in Istanbul on Tuesday to complete his highly anticipated move to Turkish giants Galatasaray, according to respected football commentator Hakan Gündoğar.
Gündoğar announced Habersarikirmizi, stating that Osimhen will not only land in Istanbul on Tuesday but will also meet with Galatasaray fans on the same day.
“Osimhen will be in Istanbul on Tuesday. Clear information. He will meet with Galatasaray fans on Tuesday,” he said.
The Turkish club is reportedly planning a historic welcome ceremony for the 25-year-old striker, who is expected to become one of the biggest stars in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Transfer Details
Galatasaray and Napoli have already finalized an agreement on Osimhen’s permanent transfer. The deal involves a €75 million release clause, which Galatasaray will pay in two installments:

Osimhen spent the entire 2024/25 season on loan at Galatasaray, impressing both fans and club officials with his work ethic and goal-scoring prowess.
Rejecting Saudi Millions
The former Lille forward notably turned down a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, who were reportedly willing to pay significantly more than Galatasaray. However, Osimhen chose passion and sporting ambition over financial gain, opting to remain in Europe and continue his journey with the Turkish champions.
