Federal Capital Territory Minister and former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, couldn’t contain his excitement as he danced jubilantly after receiving an Honorary Doctor of Science degree from the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT).
A now-viral video from the convocation ceremony held on Saturday at the UNIPORT campus in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, shows Wike enthusiastically dancing, surrounded by dignitaries and supporters, visibly thrilled by the honour.
Wike, a proud alumnus of the institution, was recognised for his outstanding service in governance, urban development, and infrastructure—contributions made both as Rivers State governor and in his current role overseeing Nigeria’s capital.
